Modern Apprenticeships

The Modern Apprenticeship (MA) programme provides individuals with the opportunity to secure industry-recognised qualifications while earning a wage. It offers people aged 16 and over the opportunity of paid employment, combined with training at different levels. A Modern Apprentice could be a new team member or an existing employee seeking to increase their capability.

Modern Apprenticeships also provide a way for businesses to train employees to industry-recognised standards. Find out more about the Modern Apprenticeship programme here.

From this financial year we are publishing quarterly data which can be accessed below.  There is a main report as well as supplementary tables giving breakdowns by age, framework (industrial sector), level, local authority, redundancies and various combinations of these.

For earlier years summary information is currently available and further data will be available shortly.
