ILA Scotland
To include opportunities in the ILA Scotland scheme, a provider must:
- Be an ILA Scotland approved provider. For further information on becoming an ILA Scotland provider, contact ILA Scotland for details.
- Submit all opportunities to learndirect scotland to be reviewed for eligibility purposes, prior to the opportunity starting.
There are a number of fields in PROMT which MUST be completed in order to have an opportunity considered for ILA Scotland approval:
- Course Title
- Course Description
- Entry Requirements - if there are none, please state this
- Qualification Details - in order for your information specialist to correctly apply the Definition of Eligible Learning (DEL), please provide as much detail as possible about the qualification gained and the level if appropriate (especially with National Units)
- Contact Name and Contact Details
- Start and End Dates -
- Please enter accurate Start and End Dates for all opportunities taking place at set times.
- For roll on / roll off type courses or distance learning which can be commenced at any time, you should use the Flexible Start Date option, entering the relevant Available From and Available Until Dates.
- The Visible From should be today's date. The Visible Until should be the end date of the course or a maximum of 28 days after the start date of the course - whichever comes first.
- Attendance Details
- Attendance Drop-Down Menu
- Course Cost - this must not be zero
- ILA Status set to Requested - all ILA opportunities are checked by ILA Scotland quality assurance team
- Opportunity Status set to ACTIVE - to flag that a particular opportunity e.g. a course at a particular venue or delivery mode is available for inclusion in the scheme
- Course Status set to ACTIVE - to flag that the course is available for inclusion in the scheme
