Adding a New Course - Details Tab
To add a new course in PROMT, click the ‘New’ icon on the toolbar or select ‘New’ from the drop-down menu. A blank course screen will open.

The title of a national training programme (NTP) should be entered as follows:
The title of the course should include the type of NTP. If the course is concerned with a particular subject, this should come first, followed by the full name of the NTP and then the acronym i.e. MA / GRfW / TfW.
If the course also includes the achievement of a formal qualification this should also be detailed in the title.
If there is no particular subject, the type of NTP should be given as the title of the course e.g.
Hairdressing - SVQ level 2 - Modern Apprenticeship - MA
Get Ready for Work - GRfW
Get Ready for Work (GRfW) courses should include the following information in the Entry Requirements field on the Course Details tab:

Any young person who would like to take part should contact Careers Scotland (0845 8 502 502) for details. An adviser will discuss their eligibility and undertake an assessment to ascertain if the programme is the right one for the young person.
