Scottish Modern Apprenticeship Awards 2010
Nominations are now open for the Scottish Modern Apprenticeship Awards 2010. The 2010 Awards will showcase those who have, through their involvement in Modern Apprenticeships, demonstrated initiative, enterprise and outstanding commitment to the improvement of skills development for the Scottish economy.
If you work with an apprentice who is a shining example of skills development or an organisation which shows excellence in vocational training, you can nominate them in one of the following categories:
- Apprentice of the Year - Traditional sector - aged 16-19
- Apprentice of the Year - Traditional sector - aged 20 or over
- Apprentice of the Year - Non Traditional sector - aged 16-19
- Apprentice of the Year - Non Traditional sector - aged 20 or over
- Level 2 Apprentice of the Year
- Small Employers - less than 50 employees
- Medium Employers - between 50 and 249 employees
- Large Employers - over 250 employees
- Partnership
- Learning Provider
This year, the awards will take place on Wednesday 8th December 2010 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow. This will be a glittering awards ceremony and dinner where each finalist will be a VIP guest and each winner will receive a specially designed awards trophy. The Awards will be profiled in national and local media and promoted through Skills Development Scotland.
Nominations close at midday on Wednesday 29 September 2010, and can be made online on the Scottish Modern Apprenticeship Awards 2010 web page.
