PROMT Workshop Winners
During January, February and March of this year the Information Services team ran a number of PROMT workshops throughout Scotland. A total of 128 providers travelled to venues in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dumfries, Aberdeen and Inverness to benefit from face-to-face guidance and support on how to get the most out of PROMT4.
These free workshops aimed to:
- Give best practice tips
- Offer networking opportunities
- Introduce the features of PROMT
- Offer Q&A sessions
All attendees were asked to complete a feedback survey at the end of the workshop to let us know what they thought of the experience. Over 90% of respondents felt that the workshop met their training needs, whether they were brand new users or simply wanting to update their skills. Some key areas that providers found of benefit were:
- "New business intelligence reports"
- "Multi-edit option"
- "Time saving tips"
- "General usage under instruction"
- "Meeting the specialists face-to-face"
Other attendees stated that PROMT was "really straightforward and easy to use", whilst others found that "being associated with learndirect scotland heightens a training provider's profile".
The names of those who completed the survey were then entered into a prize draw to win 1 of 5 satellite navigation systems. The lucky winners are listed below:
- Margaret Turnbull at MRM Training
- Elaine Samson at Quest (Scotland) Ltd
- Lisa Kitching at DGM Training Consultants Ltd
- James McCracken at Scottish Community Services Agency
- Marjory McIntosh at Access & Communities, Carnegie College
Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all those who attended the workshops!
