PROMT Version 5 Released

The latest version of PROMT is currently being rolled out to new and existing users of the software. If you are already a PROMT user, you can log in and download the new version from the PROMT section of the site. 

PROMT 5 is very similar to version 4 in terms of layout and functionality however it also includes new features to help you save time and improve accuracy. 

What's new?

• There is a spell checker, which allows the user to right click on underlined words and select the correct option 
• The visible from and visible until dates are no longer hidden for flexible opportunities, so can now be amended when the Flexible Start Date box is ticked 
• Users now have the option to 'Clear Search' at opportunity level as well as at course level
• Clicking the cross in the top right hand corner now has the same functionality as clicking 'cancel', rather than just closing the window
• There is greater validation on the visible dates, to ensure that invalid dates cannot be entered
• To reflect recent organisational changes, PROMT will now install in a folder called 'Skills Development Scotland' rather than 'Scottish University for Industry'
• On the opportunity tab, the number displayed above the datagrid will now change to reflect the number of opportunities returned when making a search.
