Don’t let your Tokens expire
As you know, to claim course fees from a learner's ILA Scotland account a valid Learning Token must be presented and the information entered onto ILA Scotland's system.
This is a reminder that on or shortly after the start date of learning, you should obtain the Learning Token and claim the funds on behalf of the learner. By using the system in this way, you will avoid the Token expiring which will cause additional work for you.*
Within ILA Scotland's website is the Provider Zone (please note you will need your username and password to access expiry information). The 'View Warnings' screen provides details of all bookings within 30 days of expiry and the 'View Unclaimed Bookings' screen details a list of all unclaimed bookings.
We would encourage your web administrator to check these screens on a regular basis to ensure you don't miss any Token expiry deadlines.
For more information on the Learning Tokens, please visit the FAQs section of the Provider Zone.
If you have any questions regarding this please call our helpline on 0141 285 6104 and choose the following options: 2, 4, 2.
*Please note:
All Learning Tokens sent to learners when they book their courses have expiration dates clearly printed on them. The ILA Scotland system will only accept Tokens up to 60 days after the course start date, at which point the Token will expire and become invalid so it is in your interests to obtain the Token at the start of the course.
