TEFL Scotland
Title : TEFL Scotland
The TEFL Scotland team has over 20 years of experience in language schools and teacher training. Based in Dingwall, they offer a portfolio of TEFL courses designed to suit the learner. Training is delivered face-to-face in a variety of locations across Scotland and for those individuals requiring a more flexible study option, online courses are also provided.
Joe Hallwood, Director of TEFL Scotland, explains why customer service is their top priority. "We want to enable others to have the fantastic experiences we have had by providing courses that are accessible and affordable."
With more than 12 years experience, developing and delivering courses for other organisations in the UK, the USA and Ireland, Joe founded TEFL Scotland over a year ago. He is certainly kept busy with training ranging from 50-hour online courses, to 110-hour weekday courses, the most popular course being the 100-hour weekend sessions.
Having recently become Individual Learning Account (ILA) Scotland registered they are adapting to make the scheme work for them. 2010 brings aims for expansion and brand development but with the customer experience remaining at the heart of what they do; Joe is keen to ensure that their systems deliver on the aim for "accessible and affordable" learning.
Joe and his colleague Jennifer both update their courses using the PROMT software. Initially they found getting to grips with the new systems and processes a bit daunting; however, they are becoming increasingly efficient and hope that ILA Scotland will help contribute to achieving their goals for the year ahead.
